Job Title: Residential Estimator/Inside Sales Representative Function: Sales Location: Dallas, TX Job Type : Non- Exempt Seniority Level : Associate Employment Type : Full-time Industry : Manufacturing Compensation : $23- $25per hour (commensurate with experience) Job Summary: The Estimator/Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. This position is responsible for providing product information, customer service and sales administrative support to all of RAMs product portfolio. Additional responsibilitiesinclude quoting various projects, reading blueprints, maintaining the quote log, and operating computer systems. General Duties: Markets and sells the company's products or services Prepares bids and quotes Answers customer inquiries Researches new product requests and writes orders Tracks and prepares reports on daily, weekly, and monthly leads and sales t his list is not inclusive of all assigned tasks/duties; other job-related duties/tasks may be assigned Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication Persuasion Negotiation Active listening Attention to detail Patience Qualifications: Excellent communicative, interpersonal, and self-starter skills Proven track record of profitability on projects through bidding and construction phases Ability to work with minimal supervision Education & Experience: At least three (3) years of estimating experience (preferably, in manufacturing/construction industry) High school diploma or equivalent is required ; bachelor's degree in construction, sales & marketing, or business-related field (preferred) Physical & Other Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, up to 75% of the time While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to walk Judgment, decision-making, follow-up, social awareness, reading/writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, communication (oral and written) Company Benefits: (10) PTO days and (8) paid holidays Medical, dental and vision insurance Company provided life, AD&D, and short-term disability insurance 401K program (up to 5% match) EEO Statement RAM Industries, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
